The mythology of our love
Through the labyrinth of life, your love leads me,
like Theseus Ariadne's ball to freedom,
although like Freya's your love is not pure,
you bewitched me with seiðr, even though I am an atheist.
Like Shamash, I exposed the lies to the light,
all your faces of Morana managed to catch a glimpse,
I won over your distrustful heart with the truth,
so that I could win your trust in the end.
Pygmalion sculpted the statue, and I sculpted you,
to have perfection with me forever,
because all your flaws make you perfect,
you managed to save me from life's rut.
And if the ominous Haru and Vant stand beside me,
sensing my end as an undoubted guarantor,
I know that you will appear and save me,
like Suseribime Ōnamuji in the land of No.
If the weight of adversity would break me to pieces,
I know that you would save me at the end of the ballad,
put me back together and revive me without compromise,
as Isis revived with love Osiris.
